Socio Economic Groups
Socio Economic Groups- A Socio Economic group is where people are categorised according to their income and occupation, your age is taken into consideration, your gender can also affect where you are on the scale, your lifestyle can also affect it and so can your ethnicity.
The Categories:
A-Landed gentry, big business owners, archbishops(upper middle class)
B- Professional working people, head teachers plus ordinary teachers high up people in the army (middle class)
C1- Professional admin worker, junior managers, supervisors (lower middle class)
C2-plumbers, carpenters, mechanics, tradesmen, electricians (skilled working class)
D-unskilled worker (working class)
E-Unemployed (subsidence level)
I do not agree with this because I feel like this is outdated in terms of the scale. society has changed so i believe that the scale isn't correct and I feel that it isn't very accurate. however if I going by the scale i fell that i could sell my magazine to E to C1 at a push.
