Audience Pleasures

 An Audience Pleasure is a range of techniques that a magazine will need to us in order to  persuade their particular audience to buy and maintain that readership. It is very important when producing a music magazine that you consider key things so that the target audience will want to buy the music magazine. when you are looking to buy a music magazine the first thing that catches your eyes is the front cover so it is very important that this part of the music magazine I spot on for the target audience because the front cover could be the difference from someone picking your magazine up or picking up someone Else's magazine. I have chosen my target audience for my music magazine would be from about 15 year old to late 20's it will be aimed at mainly males but its also aimed at females that enjoy that genre of music. so to ensure that I readers like and enjoy reading my music magazine I must use direct mode of address.

Information it gives- Because my magazine is a music magazine its important that my magazine contains more information about music than anything else so that I'm not forgetting the purpose of the magazine. The information must also appeal to my target audience so I will include thing like tour date etc..

Language- another important thing think about whilst I'm creating the magazine would be the language I need to use appropriate language so that the younger ages of my target audience is able to read the magazine. When thinking about language I need to consider using personal pronouns such as 'us' 'you' 'we' is also important as it portrays a sense of belonging to the community of readers who share the similar taste of music.

This is my draft front cover when It comes to making my real front cover this is the basic look of my front cover. on my real version I shall keep the master head, font and colours all identical so that the readers have consistency from my magazine.
